Love Affair with a Way of Life

I have been very lucky in my life. This ship which I named the Beowulf opened up a whole new lifestyle for me. No longer bound to one boss, no longer bound to one planet. I put alot of hours at the helm of this ship and I know every centimeter of her from stem to stern. Corellian Engineering Corporation (C.E.C.) really knew what they were doing after the popularity of the YT-1300. Those old birds were modded into warships by smugglers and pirates alike, they could take heavy cruiser-grade hardware and still have room for all the spice an addicted populus could take. C.E.C. stopped trying to serve legitimate clients with their freighters with the YT-2000. From there on the YT-2400 and the YT-666 were bred for two things, speed and war. They still had modules for comfort or freight, but they were post-production add-ons. Right out of the C.E.C. shipyards these things could be any pilot’s best friend… and any space authority’s worst enemy.

But even if she didn’t have hidden compartments or a military-grade shielding, or even if her engines weren’t fast enough to bend time… she is still a die-hard work horse with a heart of gold. Sure I’ll take you for a spin, but you better wipe your feet.

Perspective on a new Commission

In preperation to assume my role as Admiral of the Beowulf Fleet I have opened a communication to those who desire to benefit from my wisdom. From here I will be able to advise, counsil and suggest the best way for all under my command and those who have found this place by accident to achieve any goal they set forth in space combat or one day, fleet command.

This is Admiral Jaegen Fenris, Mayor of Journey’s End, Commander of Beowulf Fleet, signing off.
